PROMOTION!

So here's the lowdown.

Cindy, used to be the Senior Shipping Clerk at the place I work. She's been there for about 15 years. Well, one day she just up and walked out. Totally out of left field.

Work decided to offer April, the Shipping Clerk the Senior Shipping Clerk position since she was under Cindy. She took that offer.

I was approached by my HR Manager and the Plant Manager that I should apply for the Shipping Clerk positon that was available since April took her promotion. I debated it for a while and decided that I would kick myself in the butt if I passed up this opportunity. Well, yesterday I was pulled aside by the Shipping Manager and he offered me the job. I took it! I'll be making a little bit more money a month and I'll have my plate full at work now. I can't wait to start.
