Pissed, Let Down, Depressed...anything else horrible you wanna add?
It was brought to my attention that half of my cast would be gone because of a rehearsal at Springhill that was brought up yesterday. I cannot rehearse a show with half a cast.
Second, it was also brought to my attention that our group was not up to par and that a couple people (not naming names) didn't have their heads in the game. And this person didn't wan to see us fail because of other people.
I could cry.
My battle plan...as of now.
Meet with BCT and hopefully become a sister organization of BCT. Hold meetings a couple times a month to establish a stronger connection with the group.
Plan random free shows around town to help promote ourselves.
HOPEFULLY, within the next couple of months have a decent group that will rock the socks off all the haters.

New Beginnings
Chris has decided that he wants to make a contract saying that he will not eat out or drink sodas. He's determined to lose weight. I support him in this and rather than argue about stupid things I have decided to help him along the way.
Sunday night I asked him to wash the dishes before he went to bed....as of yesterday afternoon they were still not done. Rather than argue with him I did the dishes myself and didn't complain. Nothing good ever comes from an arguement. Also, this morning I made his lunch for work because I know that if he wants to get on the right path he needs some guidance. I doubt he'll make himself get up earlier every morning to make lunch. I figure if I am up making my lunch for work I might as well make his too. Saves effort I guess.
Anyways, I'm hoping all my hard work doesn't go in vain. I really love Chris and I want to have a future with him; one without arguements. I know time will tell if things eventually work out. I don't want to feel like I'm giving up on standing my ground but I'd rather do a little extra now and then rather than bicker about it.

Plum Tired
Friday was very eventful. We spent all day long at Holiday World and rode almost every ride available. We left at 9am that morning and returned home at 10:30pm sunburnt and dragging our feet.
Saturday was also just as eventful. I cleaned house that morning and met up with my long-time friend Tiffany and went to the Nelson County Fair. We met up with some friends of mine and we had a blast riding rides and playing the scam fair games. That night, we had to jump a 3.5 ft fence to get back to the car and I managed to hurt myself in the process. I pulled a muscle in my left arm trying to hop over it and I landed on my right ankle a little too hard and I've been walking around in a limp for the past two days.
I'm just glad Sunday was left to rest and relaxation. Nothing but movie watching for me that day. I sure needed it.

Public Enemy is a Flop

I got the chance to watch Public Enemy last night and I have to say I was bored out of my mind. The movie looked like someone had shot it with a home video camera and forgot to edit it. Not only that but the movie was WAY too long for a story that could have been told in about an hour and a half.
I'm very disappointed in this movie. The only reason I saw this movie was because Johnny Depp is very talented man and I thought this was going to be a great 1930's gangster movie. Don't get me wrong, the movie has potiential, but it just didn't shine like it should have.
I think the next time they want to do this movie I would hire someone with a little more experience with cinimatography and hire people who know how to cover up wires on an actor and can edit a Hollywood movie. I bet Depp is embarrassed about this one.

Fannie and Lou

A $17,500 video game

The game in question is an ultra-rare, gold-colored version of Nintendo World Championships, a cartridge specially produced for use in a Nintendo-sponsored gaming contest. According to Wikipedia only 26 were created, and Hendricks calls it the "Holy Grail" of video game collectors.
The game itself has a time limit of just 6 minutes and 21 seconds and consists of three short segments from other NES games: Super Mario Bros., Tetris, and Rad Racer. Players are scored according to their performance in each game, and their scores are totaled once the time limit expires. Doesn't sound too riveting to us, but then somehow we doubt Hendricks is in it for the gameplay.
And while $17,500 might seem a bit much for a collection of ones and zeroes, Hendricks actually got a bargain: the game was originally listed on eBay for a cool $25,000.
